Professional bottom paint and antifouling application for vessels in BC's saltwater environment. From barnacle removal and surface preparation to barrier coat assessment and antifouling paint — done properly at your location.
British Columbia's coastal waters are among the most biologically active in the world. Barnacles, mussels, tubeworms, algae, and other marine growth attach to your hull within weeks of launch — increasing drag, reducing fuel efficiency, accelerating corrosion, and causing long-term damage to your gel coat or hull material.
A properly applied antifouling system protects your hull for an entire season and significantly reduces the cost and effort of haul-out cleaning. The key word is "properly" — the right product for your hull material, the right number of coats, and the right surface preparation before application.
We've worked on aluminum workboats, fibreglass pleasure craft, and everything in between. We understand which antifouling systems are compatible with which hull materials, and we take prep work seriously because that's where bottom paint jobs succeed or fail.
Aluminum vessels require specific antifouling products — standard copper-based antifouling paint is incompatible with aluminum and causes accelerated galvanic corrosion. We only use aluminum-safe antifouling systems on aluminum hulls. If you're unsure what's currently on your boat, tell us and we'll assess it before any work begins.
Tell us your vessel details — hull material, length, current antifouling status, marina or yard location, and your timeline. We'll provide a complete quote within 24 hours.
